Christmas Dough Ornaments

Hi everyone! Last night I started my dough ornaments and this morning I finished them up. You can find the recipe here. We did find that it was hard to work with after a bit and had to add a little water at a time. When they were dry, mom sprayed them with adhesive and added some prisma glitter!

I also wanted to share a fun site as well!! It's called The North Pole. You can write letters to Santa, play games, print stuff, it's alot of fun!

Once my cinnamon ornaments are done, I'll post those too! Today is cleaning day and then we're baking daddy's favourite Christmas goodies!!! YUM!

Ornament Making Day!

Christmas Craft Fun!

Good morning! This is another Christmas ornament I made at my friend Kitana's birthday party. This one has candy in it!

Yesterday I stayed at school for my Christmas party. I had so much fun and I have alot of news to share! I got Student of the Month for Nov/Dec AND I'm now a lunch monitor for the kindergarten class! I get to help them with their lunch and play with them at recess! One of the boys in the class, Jayden, my mom used to babysit, so it's so much fun!! I had a great party and a great day!! Now I'm off for 2 weeks! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!

Christmas Angel

This is a Christmas Angel craft I made at my friend Kitana's birthday party. Neat huh? Today is the last day of school before Christmas holidays. Mom is picking us up at noon and taking us to see the Olympic Torch relay! I can't wait!!

Christmas Ornaments

Hello! Here's some ornaments I made for our tree. I saw how mommy did her ribbon on some ornament cards she made, so I did mine the same. I used 'Tacky Glue' on the ends and glued them together. Stay tuned for more of my Christmas creations over the next few days!

My Gingerbread House and Glitter Ornament Day at School!

Hi everyone!! I'm still here, just busy being a kid :)

Today is glitter ornament day at my school and this is how I looked! Tomorrow is Xmas Character day and I have an elf hat to wear. I also wanted to share this yr's gingerbread house! I made it with Grandma and we had alot of fun with it. No touching it till Christmas day though!! Ok, so I've snuck a couple gum drops, but I'm allowed!!!!!!!

Butterflies - FBW #81

This is a card I made for Danni's Flutter By Wednesday challenge. I used the same paper as my mom. I've been home sick all week, but slowly starting to feel better. Yesterday was my 9th birthday and we had a little get together after dinner last night. I got alot of nice stuff (thank you everyone!) and even my brother bought me stuff! He bought me pj's, boots like mommy's and the new Tinker Bell movie which is really cute! Today I'm going to get into all the goodies my Aunt Lee Ann, Uncle Jere and cousins got me...lots of books full of things to do! Maybe I'll go back to school tomorrow, I'm liking being home with mom.

I Sold Some Cards!

I'm so excited! Last night I went to my Aunt Lee Ann's and before I went with my mom, we sat and mom finished up some cards she was working on and I made 4 cards of my own and took them all to Aunt Lee Ann's. I sold them all for $2 each! Mine all sold before mom's, hehehe. So I bought a pair of earrings from Aunt Lee Ann with me OWN money and then I even had money to enter into a raffle and I won that to!

Cat's Meow

This is a little card I put together. I've been home sick with a cold for 2 days, but starting to feel better today. Mommy said I have to get better, it's picture day tomorrow!

Butterflies In A Box

My Aunt Lee Ann gave me a book that has all the things to make cards and projects and it even has templates to use. So I made this teeny weeny box and filled it with stamped butterflies. The stamps are from a set that our cousin Nancy gave mommy for her birthday.

Sweet Pea

Hi everyone! I've been really busy with riding camp and summer stuff, so I haven't been very creative. Mommy and I sat down last week though and I made this page. Mommy is just getting some time to post it today! This is my cousin Isabella, who is just 4 mths old. I used "New Arrivals" cricut cartridge for the words and stuff.

Today is my mommy's birthday! This is what I made for her. The stamp is my nanny's and the rest is from Michael's. I put it all together. Mommy loves pink! I wrote saying's in the booklet for mommy. She loved it all!

My First Challenge Entry at Simon Says Stamp!

This week over at Simon Says Stamp, it's a distressing challenge! I used one of mom's stamps and stamped it with distressing ink and then I tore paper for more distressing on my card.

Over on mommy's blog, Creations By KW, there's a new Monday challenge and we had to do a beach theme! Last night I made this card. It's a little one, mom showed me how to make a little 3x card. Cute huh? Come on over and play!

Christmas In July Challenge

Hi!! I hope everyone's dry...mom keeps saying we might need to build an ark! Hahaha! So, this is my first card entered in a challenge. It's mom's challenge over at Creations By KW. Last week's was Christmas In July. I used mommy's House Mouse stamp and Xmas paper. If you would like to play along, mommy posts a new challenge every Monday morning!

My Rock Star Side :)

This is me just being silly. I used to have really long hair and it was all curls. I cried every time mommy brushed it and it was hard on both of us. When we went on our first Florida trip in 2005, I decided to take it off at my shoulders and loved it. This is from a few weeks ago. I went a little shorter and LOVE it! It's so easy and SO much fun! Mom and I both have crazy curls, so this is much easier. I was being a rockstar with my "Lips" game and of course, mom had the camera and of course, I had to pose...LOL! One day, I'll grow my hair long again, but for now, this is just much easier for all of us and I LOVE it!

My First Time Embossing

I wanted to share my first embossed cards with you. Mommy showed me how at Christmas time. It's alot of fun! You use a special pad and then you add embossing powder over top and then dry it with this heat gun. But don't get too close to the end of it or let it blow on you, it's VERY hot! Then when it was done, I wanted to color it in. So here's my first to embossed projects. I had alot of fun making them!

For A Friend...

Mommy's writing my post today for me as this is a very special card...

A friend of our family was standing in her kitchen, about 3 mths ago, and she had a stroke. It's been over 3 mths now and about 2 weeks ago, Joyce was moved into a nursing home. She has always loved nature and everything to do with it. I tell you, those birds over there won't know what's happened unless her husband is able to keep up with everything. They were always on top of the many bird feeders they have. Unfortunately, the stroke has left Joyce unable to talk and move. Very sad. So Ashleigh thought it would be very nice to make her a card and she did this one all by herself. She asked me for paper and that was about it. I feel this is one of the best cards she has done and she did an amazing job. I'm sure Joyce will love it.

Pets!

My favourite thing to do is play with my pets. I love them all. Mommy and daddy really love animals too, so Andrew and I have had all kinds of different pets! We have lizards, fish, bunny, 2 cats, 2 dogs, parrot, budgie, salamanders...alot! It's hard to keep up and sometimes, ok, more than that, mommy finds it hard to keep up and has to remind us that we have to help feed everyone!! The picture of me and my cats is from 2 yrs ago. So, I was about 7, right before I decided I wanted my hair cut short when we went to Florida! I love to put my kitties in dress up clothes and then I walk them around in my stroller and dolly stuff. I think they like it, mommy and daddy think they just do it to keep me happy..hahaha!

The other side is Sadie, she was my mommy and daddy's dog when mommy was pregnant with me. She died before I was born, but I've heard LOTS of stories about her! She was funny and very loving. I wish I had known her!

School and Family

This was my first day back to school, I was going into Gr 1 and the other side is some family. My mom, her dog Sadie and my uncle Duane when they first moved into our house, so mommy was about 21 there, then another picture of my Uncle Duane and a picture of my on my 3rd birthday with my favourite cat, Patches!

Party and Overnight!

This layout is of Andrew's 11th birthday party..that's my grandpa, papa and grandma in our backyard and the other one, I was about 2 I think and nanny and papa took Andrew and I for an overnight in a hotel!! We had SOOOO much fun!!

Piggies and Birdies!

These layouts are about animals! My grandma and grandpa live in the country and their neighbour has 2 pot bellied pigs. They always come to visit and I LOVE them! Grandma and Grandpa like them to because they eat the dandelions. They like food scraps too!! OINK OINK!!

The other one is my cousin Hayden and my baby budgie, Tito. We could hold Tito and everything. He was just a baby and he got sick and died in mommy's hand when I was at school. I miss him alot, but he has a special place in our back garden now. Miss you Tito!

Swimming and Easter!

Every year when mommy and daddy open our pool, my brother Andrew and I can't wait to jump in! Everyone says we're crazy because it's SOOOOOO cold, but it's fun and now it's a tradition!!

The other page is Easter, I don't know what year, I think maybe 2-3 years ago, have to ask mom and the then me and my brother. I think I was about 3-4 years old there. Have to ask mom!

Mommy and Daddy

Some Of My Scrapbook Pages!

I love to make cards, but I also love to scrapbook too. Mommy has been scrapbooking for yrs and she's shown me how. For Christmas, I got my own scrapbook kit and punches! I was SO excited! Mommy helped me take some pictures of my layouts, so I'll show them to you over the next few days.

This layour is of me and my baby bunny. Bunzie's about 4 now, but he's so cute! We called him Princess till he got older and daddy said...Ashleigh? Your princess is a prince! Hehehe! He loved to give kisses and still does!

I'm also busy with summer holidays, so mommy has to help me keep up in here! Have fun!

Felix KETTO Card - Happy Birthday Patches!

Today is Patches birthday. She's my cat and she's 5 today! I made this for her. It's her boyfriend..hahaha! When she was born, we were having a bonfire for UNcle's birthday and mommy went to check on Cutie (the mom cat) and she had another kitten and she was too tired to deal with it, so mommy had to open the sac and baby Patch was born! We were attached at the hip from then on! We gave Cutie to a home with no dogs and kids and she's like a princess there now. She didn't like it here very much, too busy for her.

Happy birthday to my uncle duane today! I made this card using all the scraps mom and I collect. We have a folder FULL of them. Nanny said we should always keep them because you never know when you can use them. I've used alot! This stamp is from Stamping Bella to!

Felix KETTO Card

I think my mom's addicted to Stamping Bella, hahaha, but this one is mine. Mommy bought it for me. I have the other one that matches it to. I want to buy something to put all my cards in and then I can get one when I need one for my friends. I borrowed mom's folder to put them in for now. My coloring is even getting better! Daddy said he loves my cards. Maybe I'll give this one to him.

Solly TUDE - Another Card For Mom!

Good morning! This is another card I made for my mom. I love to surprise her. I used her new Stamping Bella stamp called sollytude. She's cute and I love her balloons. I wrote a nice note in it for mom. I love my mommy!

For My Mom

This is another Stamping Bella image that my mom has. I made this card just for her. I used her scrap pieces of paper as she keeps most of them. The card is meant to be a picture of mom and I together. I worked very hard on this and even looked up the poem all by myself and printed it. My mom is very special to me and I love her very much!

House Mouse and Hummingbird

This is a card I did using my mom's stamped image of a really cute House Mouse! I love how he's feeding the little hummingbird. It's so cute! I had to look in my bird book from my grandma on how to color the hummingbird. Mom said I did a great job on it! Thanks mom!
